It’s our first!

There’s so much that has been going on with BedVoyage in the last month.  It has been busy busy busy hustle and bustle for us here at the office as we’ve been getting ready for our first ever trade show in Las Vegas, NV!

We will be attending the Travel Goods trade show at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

For all of our readers, I would just like to let you know that this trade show is not open to the public.  It is a trade show for buyers from companies looking for new travel products that they would like to have added onto there storefront and/or online presence.   We have a lot in store for our potential partners that will be coming to check us out!  We will be giving away a free Apple iPod nano, along with a lot of other perks and giveaways!

We have spent the last 3 months planning and preparing for this trade show.  Words can not even express the excitement flowing through our office right now as we set up our invitations, purchase all of our giveaways, and get completely psyched out for The Travel Goods Show 2010!

We would like to invite all buyers who are attending to our booth!  We will be giving away free chocolates and will be having random drawings for a new Apple iPod nano, a set of our luxurious bed sheets, a travel blanket, and a few other things!  Can’t wait to see you there!

More! More!

What a week it has been!  Our technical team has been scrambling all week to get all the new sections up and running!  We would like to let everyone know that we have added a few new sections to our website.

We have added the following:

• Travel Tips
• News and Media
• A link to our blog

We have compiled a list of our top 10 tips for traveling and avoiding germs on your travels.  We want to make sure that our customers stay safe and away from any disgusting germs while they’re enjoying time to themselves in paradise (or on a business trip).

We also added a news and media section.  We do have the clip from where we were featured on King5 Local news here in Seattle, WA!  We are being featured on another company’s website called womentorz (www.womentorz.com).  Make sure to head over there direction and give them a looky-loo.  They’re an up and coming e-commerce site that’s aimed towards female inventors.  They’re fantastic!

And last but not least, we added a link to our blog (self explanatory).

BedVoyage and Womentorz!

Womentorz: (whoa-men-torz)
“Women Inventors.  An organization and soon to be e-commerce website for women inventors to showcase there inventions and products”.

Our lovely Sharon Stuart was recently forwarded an e-mail from her best friend Barrie about a new organization that was looking for women inventors in the great Seattle, WA area to interview for an up and coming segment that will be aired on King5 news.  The organization is designed to help women inventors showcase there products to the internet to be able to get there foot in the door in the booming e-commerce business.  You can check them out at www.womentorz.com as of November 1st.  The website still states that they are under construction, but it does link you to there blog which has a lot more info on the company.  You can check out there blog at http://womentorz.blogspot.com

Sharon received the email a couple days ago, placed the phone call yesterday, spoke with the owner/founder Melinda Knight (http://www.womentorz.com) and spoke with her about our products.  Melinda loved the concept and the product and invited Sharon to be apart of the interview today (10/15/09).  The segment will be aired TONIGHT (10/15/09) at 5pm PST on King5 local news.

We look forward to getting more and more people educated on the benefits of our bedsheets and why bamboo is the better way to go.
